Miller receives permanent job as Coolidge city manager

Rick Miller has been named city manager, dropping “interim” from his title after a vote of the City Council Monday.

Miller, who had filled the position since spring, signed a three-year contract. The council vote was unanimous.

Miller had a long run as planning and development director for Casa Grande before retiring. He later worked for the city of Eloy and then became growth manager director for Coolidge.
