Arizona State University President Michael Crow recounted the consultant’s words Monday evening from a stage inside ASU’s new Beus Center for Law and Society, a building of the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law tucked into the core of downtown Phoenix.
It’s not hard to see where the consultant’s skepticism sprang from, with law-school enrollment dropping at a median rate of 18 percent in the top 20 U.S. law schools between 2011 and 2015.
