Santa Cruz Crossing may be close: Developer of stalled CG project critical of delays

CASA GRANDE — About 90 acres of land remains undeveloped on the southeast corner of Trekell and Rodeo roads. Some fencing barricades the area referred to as Santa Cruz Crossing, though there’s no sign of activity.

Integria Development, a California-based land-development company, has been trying to develop it into a multi-use residential complex for the last two years. A couple of roadblocks have gotten in the company’s way, both of which involve water.

Joseph Miller, CEO of Integria, said he’s becoming annoyed by the lack of progress on the project. He said construction could have begun much sooner, but the demands he’s getting from the city seem to never end.
