Youngtown ponders use of land west of Agua Fria River

The 2-square mile community of Youngtown lies primarily on the east side of the Agua Fria River, between El Mirage to the west and Sun City to the right.

What has remained unused for more than a decade, however, is a piece of land belonging to Youngtown west of the Agua Fria River, cut off from the rest of the community. No one inhabits the area, but the land could be of use down the road for a community of about 6,200 people in the form of a recreation area.
