With final results still pending, Maricopa City Council member Nancy Smith appears to have captured her seat on the Maricopa City Council, leaving four others to compete for the remaining two seats in the November runoff.
Smith, her husband Tony – a Pinal County supervisor – and friends, were enjoying the early results on Election Night at Brooklyn Boys Restaurant.
“It feels awesome, I’m very delighted,” Smith said. “I’ve worked very hard to try and help the residents understand what I’ve done so far in the last two years and what I promise to do in the coming four years.”
