City pursues Scottsdale stadium master plan overhaul

The city of Scottsdale is looking to move forward with its plans to upgrade Scottsdale Stadium and has found a contractor to complete the job.

City staff is seeking Scottsdale City Council’s approval to enter into a contract with Populous Group, LLC for $244,524 to complete master planning services on the stadium and other baseball-related facilities. The council will render a decision at its Tuesday, Sept. 20 city council meeting.

Two baseball training facilities, one at Indian School Park and the other at Papago Baseball Complex, are part of the master plan for upgrades.
