Flake to introduce bill proposing to fix ADA lawsuit problems

Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake is planning to introduce a bill this week in Congress that would change the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The bill would provide a “notice and cure” provision that would create a temporary pause in litigation for up to 120 days before a lawsuit can be filed, allowing property owners the opportunity to correct identified barriers to access.
