Fortini and Silver Fern Companies are the Bridge Between Developers and Builders in Mesa’s Newest Master-Planned Community in Expanding Mesa Gateway Corridor
(PHOENIX) – John Fortini of Silver Fern Companies has been selected by Harvard Investments as the construction project manager on Mesa’s newest master planned community, Cadence at Gateway (http://cadenceaz.com/). As an accomplished professional with a proven record of successful leadership in Arizona construction and development management, John becomes the bridge between developer Harvard Investments and the community’s builders.
“Harvard Investments gets it,” said John. “They are a very experienced/sophisticated group that understands the technical side of the project, but also what the builders need as a deliverable to the consumer.”
John has been collaborating with Harvard Investments on various projects for more than 15 years and as President and Managing Member, he has expanded Silver Fern Companies from a construction management company to a full-service construction management, land development, and real estate consulting firm. The firm has developed over 30,000 lots in just the past 10 years and were eager to work on the Cadence project with Harvard and other key partners including land planner Wendell Picket of Greey|Pickett and architect Bing Hu of H&S International.

John holds a bachelor’s degree from the Del E. Webb School of Construction at Arizona State University. He began his career in construction management and land development, then later Residential Building Superintendent for Richmond American Homes / MDC Holdings in Phoenix, Arizona.
