Infill developer brings Seattle designs to Phoenix, eyes second downtown project

Developer Dan Tilton has just opened the new Proxy 333 apartments in downtown Phoenix with a focus on urban designs he saw in Seattle.

Tilton — who is based in Scottsdale — also said he’s looking at buying another parcel on Central Avenue near Burton Barr Library and McDowell Road for another multifamily project.

Tilton said that land is currently a parking lot and he hopes to closeon the sale by year’s end.

The Proxy 333 is at McKinley and Third streets in downtown Phoenix.

The development totals 118 units and is six stories.
