Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu scaled back his reaction to Donald Trump’s recently discovered lewd statements the presidential candidate made 11 years ago.
The day after The Washington Post released footage of Trump making inappropriate comments while appearing on “Access Hollywood” in 2005, Babeu’s Twitter account posted a statement indicating the congressional candidate would not mark Trump’s name on his presidential ballot.
The statement on Twitter read “Donald Trump’s comments are reprehensible. They have no place in our public discourse. I will be writing in Mike Pence for President.”
