For anyone who’s happy that there are no more presidential debates, consider the down side. We likely just got our last Saturday Night Live debate parody featuring Alec Baldwin as “the best-ever Donald Trump” and Kate McKinnon as Hillary Clinton.
The comedic combatants welcomed an A-lister for Saturday’s take on Wednesday’s third-and-final debate, nine-time host Tom Hanks as Fox News moderator Chris Wallace.
As with earlier SNL debate satires, the comedians worked with what the candidates gave them — and that’s a lot. Baldwin’s Trump opened by announcing he would “start this debate in the quietest voice possible. In the past, I have been big and loud, but tonight, I am a sweet little baby Trump.”
