The Flagstaff City Council decided to move forward with a study to weigh the benefits of a site-specific plan for the John Wesley Powell Area at the council work session last week.
According to the report prepared by city staff and presented by Community Development Director Mark Landsiedel, the study area will include about 2,200 acres, and when the area is at full buildout, will contain between 6,000 and 8,000 dwelling units.
