Glendale council approves Garden Grove housing project

As Glendale continues to attract new business to the city, the city council approved rezoning near 87th and 85th avenues to allow an 82-home residential development.

The new housing project, called Garden Grove, will consist of single-family homes, a play area for children, ramadas and seating areas with shade that will be provided by the builder.

“The open space at three or four areas in the housing development will be nearly 15 percent of the development,” said Glendale Planning Director Jon Froke.
