The vertical wall raising as PhoenixMart continues to make progress in Casa Grande

Casa Grande’s economic development manager says major projects in the area are moving forward.

Richard Wilkie spoke to the Arizona City Chamber of Commerce at Duffer’s Restaurant on Nov. 15 about the big projects that are being planned in Casa Grande. There was the obligatory discussion of PhoenixMart but also of a new major motor sports park and updates on some of the major local retail centers.

On the PhoenixMart front, Wilkie celebrated the first raising of the walls and said he is very confident that the long-delayed business-to-business center in the eastern part of Casa Grande will in fact be completed. He said at this point so much money has been spent on the project that investors are going to want to see it through.

“That’s really, really good for all of us,” Wilkie said. “Arizona City, Eloy, Coolidge.”
