After being approved by a unanimous vote by Councilmembers in October, HILGARTWILSON was approved to begin construction of the new Deer Valley Villas, north of Deer Valley High School.
The development, which will include 18 single-family homes, is being built on just over four acres of undeveloped land at 18800 N. 51st Ave. on the corner of 51st and Union Hills Drive.
“The site has been vacant for years and will have 20 percent of the site devoted to planned open space,” said Planning Director Jon Froke during an October council meeting. “They will also build a semi-regional equestrian trail along 51st Avenue, filling in a gap of an existing trail.”
