Watching from the bleachers as Arizona Diamondbacks executives and Maricopa County officials collide on the base path, we are simply bewildered.
None of this makes any sense.
A nasty feud is playing out in public, when instead cool-headed and creative problem-solving should prevail.
Last March, a team that prizes itself on public relations, that made itself an anchor of this community, revealed for the first time it is so dissatisfied with its taxpayer-built stadium it is ready to look for other options and partners.
Lots of explanations, little sense
