Arizona got a new utility regulator on Tuesday and the Arizona Corporation Commission also elected a new chairman and hired a new executive director.
The five-member commission regulates electric, water and gas utilities and has other duties such as regulating investments, railroad crossings and pipeline safety.
Former Chandler Mayor and Superior Court Judge Boyd Dunn was elected in November to the commission along with fellow Republicans and sitting commissioners Andy Tobin and Robert Burns.
