Preserving state-shared revenue, opposing state-money grabs and rejecting unfunded mandates tops Glendale’s list as the Arizona Legislature opens its session this week.
City Council discussed in workshop last week Glendale’s priorities that will guide its lobbying efforts in 2017.
“We recommend prioritizing the state’s legislative agenda to a list of priority issues,” said Brent Stoddard, Public Affairs director. “This simply allows us to have a stronger, more consistent message to the Legislature on those items that are most important.”
