Scottsdale’s Artesia revived with 500 new, luxury condos

A stalled luxury condominium development on one of central Scottsdale’s prime corners is being revived with a plan for 500 homes.

Meritage Homes is partnering with iStar Inc. to develop the Artesia project on the northeast corner of Scottsdale and Indian Bend roads, the site of the former Radisson Resort.

Plans call for adding another 400-plus condos and townhouses, a 10-acre park, resort-style pools and a large clubhouse on the 30-acre site. Now, there are 93 condos in Artesia.

Prices for the new homes will range from around $400,000 to more than $1 million, say the developers.
