17,000 diapers collected in annual fundraiser; Rose Law Group takes part

Pinal County Supervisor Todd. H. House, who represents District 5, which includes Apache Junction and Gold Canyon, stands next to diapers and baby wipes that were donated.

The year 2016 was a very productive year for Supervisor Todd House’s annual diaper drive.

The drive obtained 17,000 diapers and 14,000 baby wipes, compared to 2016 when there were 8,000 diapers. This was due to the generous support of the Johnson Ranch Family, Rose Law Group and private citizens. This it the fourth year of the diaper drive and to date Supervisor House has collected more than 30,000 diapers.

Supervisor House is a savvy shopper, spending the donations wisely. He could have paid $24 per diaper box and instead purchased for $18 per diaper box, therefore having more diapers (including adult) available for families in need.

The diapers and baby wipes will be distributed to Hope Women’s Center, Head Start and the Apache Junction Food Bank, all local entities.

If Anyone wishes to participate in donating to this cause (which is dear to Supervisor House’s heart) currently or in the future, contact his office at 480-982-0659 or 520-866-6106,

Deborah Mellado
Assistant to Pinal County
Board of Supervisors
