ICED – A plan to build a new home for the Arizona Coyotes in Tempe is dead. “[ASU] said [it] ‘has no intention of proceeding to sign a development agreement… or any other agreement with the Coyotes.’” No official word on “why [ASU] was ending negotiations”; however it seems likely that ASU saw their important legislation being jeopardized if they were seen to be pushing this unpopular and unrealistic hockey tax district concept. http://bit.ly/2jUHUlM
