Houses below $300K in Flagstaff hard to find
By Corina Vanek | Arizona Daily Sun
The median sales price of a Flagstaff-area single-family home in January 2017 was about $359,000.
Those looking to buy a house in Flagstaff for under $300,000 might be out of luck for now.
According to data from the Northern Arizona Multiple Listing Service, only two single-family detached homes were available within the city limits for that price. A total of 13 homes are listed in the city below $300,000, but 11 are under contract to be sold, according to Century 21 Flagstaff Realtor Stephen Brighton.
The two within the city that remain available in the city are located in the Smokerise neighborhood and in Sunnyside, Brighton said.
Outside of the city, there are more options in that category of home for homebuyers on a budget, but the pickings are still pretty slim. Twelve homes in Munds Park are available for under $300,000, though its distance from Flagstaff can make the area unattractive for many people who want to work in the city.
