On a sunny afternoon in late February, residents at Las Aguas Apartments lined up for waffles from the Waffle Love food truck parked a few feet from the community pool.
The Waffle Love truck was part of many events — including Taco Tuesdays, Wine Wednesdays, bike rides and inviting chefs to prepare meals at the poolside cabana — that Las Aguas plans to engage residents and local businesses, according to property manager Johnathon Guzman.
Las Aguas is one of the newest apartment complexes completed in the ongoing redevelopment of south Scottsdale, opening doors to residents in April at McDowell Road and North 67th Place. Its 154 one- and two-bedroom units filled up quickly and remain in steady demand.
