Casa Grande mayor continues push to widen I-10; petition being circulated

City officials continue to put pressure on state leaders to address widening Interstate 10 between Casa Grande and Chandler.

Casa Grande Mayor Craig McFarland recently sat down with PinalCentral to discuss traffic congestion on I-10. He said he’s had discussions with Arizona Department of Transportation Director John Halikowski about ADOT’s plan for that section of the interstate.

“Unfortunately, there’s nothing on their five-year plan,” McFarland said.
