The inventory of houses on the market in Arizona City has shrunk, leaving only 32 houses on the market as of Thursday, about what realtors sell in a month’s time.
“It’s been a very long time since inventory has been this low, the difference is that before the crash you had new homes being built,” said K.C. Jones, broker and owner of RE/MAX A Bar Z Realty in Arizona city.
Following the crash in 2008, well over 300 homes would be on the market at any given time, according to Nancy Hawkins of Hawkins and Associates Realty. In recent years the average amount of homes on hand would vary between 100 and 150.
