Peoria city manager to retire

Peoria City Manager Carl Swenson will retire from civil service, effective July 4, 2017.

Peoria City Manager Carl Swenson announced his retirement, effective July 4, 2017.

Mr. Swenson said in a statement he is retiring from civil service after 11 years with Peoria.

“My time with the city of Peoria has been the highlight of my 35 years in city government, and I’m very proud of our many accomplishments,” Mr. Swenson said.
