A green light was given for the next phase of the PhoenixMart project.
The Casa Grande City Council approved a modified agreement Monday with AZ Sourcing, the parent company of the huge wholesale center, which is under construction. According to the new agreement, AZ Sourcing now will be responsible for the cost of the majority of the sewer line to the project, which is near Florence Boulevard and Signal Peak Road.
City Manager Larry Rains said the city will pay for extension of the line under Interstate 10 near Kortsen Road and AZ Sourcing will pay for the construction of the line from there to the project site.
