Plaza Companies has submitted site and landscape plans to the City of Scottsdale for a new five-story, 100KSF Element Hotel for SkySong near Scottsdale and McDowell Roads.
Element is part of the Marriott hotel family. The brand focuses on extended stay accommodations, healthy living and eco-conscious design elements, including recycled carpet, low-use fixtures, LED lighting and recycling systems.
According to the submittal, the main entry and porte cochere will be across from SkySong’s existing parking garage. The building’s U-shaped layout will incorporate an outdoor courtyard facing Scottsdale Road. A fitness center, lounge area and meeting space will be oriented toward the courtyard space.
