Hundreds of new homes are on track to be constructed in San Tan Valley.
Last week the Pinal County Board of Supervisors approved a zoning request allowing for a large development.
The San Tan Groves subdivision would allot for up to 462 residential lots on nearly 153 acres in the area, located near the intersection of Hunt Highway and Thompson Road, close to the border of Queen Creek.
Curt Johnson, senior vice president of Coe & Van Loo Consultants, a Phoenix-based construction company heading the project with Bonanza Land Co., told PinalCentral that the single-family homes would be “compatible” with other designs in the area.
