One Valley housing developer is targeting a population that’s growing across the country — older adults who are spending down their savings as they age.
A prime midtown Phoenix corner is taking shape as a 7-story complex for low-income seniors. It’s one of three underway in the metro area built for military veterans and other people who need daily assistance.
Many assisted-living communities are out of reach for people living on fixed incomes, but can become necessary after a fall or other change in health. The new projects aim to offer an option supplementing what’s available from non-profit or government agencies.
