Coalition forms to support Pinal road plan, excise tax

A coalition of government officials, business leaders and residents is urging voters to approve two separate propositions that would fund major transportation projects in Pinal County.

The group, New Roads and Freeways Before It’s Too Late: Yes on Propositions 416 and 417, banded to push for the Pinal Regional Transportation Plan and Transportation Excise Tax that are intended to “solve Pinal County’s current transportation problems and to keep traffic moving well into the future,” a press release by Rose Moser Allyn Public Relations states.

Pinal voters will have a chance to vote on the items on Nov. 7.
