The Goldwater Institute’s Mark Flatten has spent more than three decades as a reporter, mostly in Arizona, where he worked primarily for the East Valley Tribune. It’s there that Flatten began to make a name for himself as an investigative reporter. Now at Goldwater, Flatten still works to dig up stories, but has the backing of a libertarian think tank that will take his work and advocate to right the wrongs he reports on.
