CASA GRANDE — Residents will have an opportunity to weigh in on a proposed amusement park in Casa Grande.

At a special meeting Wednesday, the Casa Grande City Council will consider rezoning nearly 1,500 acres along Interstate 8 into a planned area development to include Dreamport Villages, a proposed extreme sports park.

The Block Sports Group, parent company of Dreamport Villages, also plans to include residential and commercial spaces.
