Casa Grande domes spared the wrecking ball for now

CASA GRANDE — The Casa Grande Domes are still standing.

An appeal of a county order to demolish the domes is on hold while the manager of the property is out of the country.

The Pinal County Board of Supervisors voted Wednesday to continue the item until Sept. 20 because Dan Peer, vice president of Simplicity Communications and manager of the domes, is out of the country and “not reachable,” according to a memo.
