Coconino County awards contract for land-use study

Coconino County has awarded MAKERS Architecture & Urban Design the contract for the county’s Joint Land Use Study (JLUS), which is part of $532,700 in grant money received from the Department of Defense.

The Coconino County board of supervisors recently announced it awarded MAKERS the contract for the study after soliciting proposals from consultants since April.

“We are pleased to have MAKERS working with the County, the City of Flagstaff and the community on this important study,” Matt Ryan, vice chair of the board and District 3 supervisor, said in a press announcement.
