Glendale City Council approves nearly $3M in HUD

Glendale City Council unanimously approved the acceptance of nearly $3 million in grants from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development during its Aug. 8 meeting.

“HUD requires the submission of an annual plan to continue to receive these funds,” said Community Revitalization Administrator Charyn Eirich-Palmisano.

The breakdown of grants is $2,270,348 for community development, $515,985 for home investment partnership allocation, and $198,131 for emergency grant funding.
