LA Dodgers’ Andre Ethier sells Gilbert mansion for $4.9M

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andre Ethier has sold his Gilbert home for $4.9 million.

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andre Ethier scored $4.9 million on the sale of his 9,326-square-foot Gilbert mansion with a tropical paradise backyard.

The sale of the house with a batting cage, game room, soccer field, windmill and two-story closet with latter, closed on July 31, according to public real-estate records. It’s one of the highest prices ever paid for an East Valley home.

Ethier’s house sold quickly for a high-priced mansion. It was listed for $5 million in March.

Jeff and Sandra Sawyer paid cash for the Gilbert estate.
