Phoenix’s most popular independent hotel is getting $2 million worth of upgrades.

The Clarendon Hotel and Spa in midtown Phoenix at 401 W. Clarendon Ave. is undergoing a facelift, including all major parts of the midcentury space, including the guest rooms, public areas, restaurant and rooftop deck.

Guest rooms will get Tuft & Needle beds, as well as new flooring, paint schemes, lighting, artwork, window coverings, shower controls, minibars with quartz counters, Keurig machines and smart fridges. Cox Communications has upgraded the video delivery system and internet speeds as well.
