COOLIDGE — After Pinal County gave the green light to a 257-acre solar farm, the city of Coolidge is now looking into potentially annexing a portion of the project’s land as well as several other surrounding properties.
The city is looking to annex approximately 536 acres, which will involve approximately nine property owners.
A public hearing on the annexation was held during Monday’s City Council meeting, where several property owners urged the council members to reconsider.
