Construction starts down for commercial real estate, flat for housing across Phoenix

Regional construction starts are down 12 percent so far this year for commercial projects such as offices, retail and warehouses and housing starts are flat.

That is according to new data from the Dodge Data & Analytics, a New York-based research firm that tracks the construction and real estate industries.
