Summer was a fruitful season for Airbnb in Arizona.
The San Francisco-based home-sharing company released some numbers from the summer travel season showing almost 150,000 guests used the service in the state.
“Airbnb provides an affordable way for people to visit Arizona and for Arizona residents to escape the heat during the summer,” said Laura Spanjian, Airbnb public policy director for the Southwest. “More people are choosing Airbnb to save money, to stay near friends and family and to stay in neighborhoods outside of traditional hotel districts.”
