When U2 came to Arizona last month, the band rocked a sold-out University of Phoenix Stadium. Around the same time, Janet Jackson strutted through Talking Stick Resort Arena, while Gloria Trevi sparkled in sequins at Gila River Arena.
But no musical stars graced Chase Field, the Valley’s other professional sports venue. In fact, it’s been more than a year since the last major performance there.
Does that mean Chase Field is bad at hosting concerts?
