Ground will break Wednesday morning for what Colorado River Unified High School District superintendent Riley Frei calls a “landmark” indoor high school field house that “all Arizonans can be proud of for decades to come.”
The cost of the project is $32.5 million. It was approved last November by voters as part of the capital improvement bond projects.
CORE Construction from Phoenix is the general is the general contractor, the Mohave Daily News reported, with local business able to bid on naming rights.
It will be located near Arizona State Route 95, not far from I-40, U.S. Highway 95, Arizona State Route 68 and Nevada State Highway 163.
