Skydivers. Arm Wrestling Champion. Church. Three More New Things With One Month To Go Before the Next Greatest Show on Grass
So you thought we were done announcing exciting new elements for the Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships, now just one month away from today?
That’s just not our style. Nor is being conventional. So in case Shakespeare, opera, a Sunday brunch, a fried chicken and champagne restaurant, two days, a beach tent and perhaps the greatest American polo player of all time weren’t enough how about these . . .
*The World’s Most Elegant Arm Wrestling With The Best Arm Wrestler In The World. Travis Bagent is the Muhammad Ali of arm wrestling. Brash. Big. And one bad beast. You may have seen him on ESPN. On November 11th you’ll see him at the World’s Greatest Polo Party hosting an arm wrestling tournament. And later taking on challengers from the crowd. The only catch? You must be wearing a hat, tie or nice jacket to participate. If you feel like taking him on let us know at info@ThePoloParty.com. We’ll take it under advisement, as should you!
*Look Up! We’re thrilled to announce that Red Bull’s Skydivers will be making their first appearance at the event, parachuting onto the Wells Fargo Private Bank Field at WestWorld, likely before the featured match at 2:15pm between Aspen Valley and Monte Carlo.
*Gospel Brunch: This year, you can enjoy The Polo Party on Sunday too. So what could be more appropriate than attending church, at polo? Since launching in downtown Scottsdale earlier this year by an Air Force veteran (and our event is during Veteran’s Day Weekend) Church Alive demonstrated both innovation and inclusiveness. The service will be held at the west end of the field, under tent, with the service starting at 11am. For more details contact Church Alive at (480) 482-9730.
One month to go until two unforgettable days. See you soon at “the best polo event in the world.”

About The Polo Party
With the breathtaking backdrop of McDowell Mountains in Scottsdale, Arizona, the event started in 2011. In 2016, more than 11,000 people turned out for what has transformed into the country’s most attended polo event and the world’s most interesting. Indeed, the Captain of the Wales Polo Team calls The Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships “the best polo event in the world.”
