The West Valley is well represented, as over 200 cities have issued proposals for Amazon’s second company headquarters dubbed HQ2.
The online retailer started seeking a new location in September for its second headquarters, promising cities it would bring 50,000 new jobs and spend up to $5 billion. Proposals from cities, states and regions were due Oct. 20, and Amazon made clear that tax breaks and grants would be a big deciding factor on where it chooses to land.
