Congressman Tom O’Halleran, D-Sedona, is taking heat from his political opponents for establishing a field office in a colleague’s district, possibly violating a House of Representatives rule prohibiting congressional offices outside of one’s district.
But the issue may be moot based on permission received from the colleague in whose district O’Halleran’s office exists.
“It’s not a secret. You can zoom in on the map on our website and see that it’s three cross streets outside of the district. It’s just off I-10,” said Cody Uhing, O’Halleran’s press secretary.
