Doug Baldwin isn’t hiding his feelings about the NFL’s scheduling of midweek contests.
After the Seattle Seahawks incurred a number of injuries in a 22-16 win over the Arizona Cardinals, the wide receiver said Thursday night games should be banned.
“This (expletive) should be illegal,” Baldwin said, according to The (Tacoma) News Tribune. “It is not OK. It’s not OK. You can quote me on that.”
Baldwin had five catches for 95 yards in the game despite pulling his quadriceps during pregame warmups. Several Seahawks suffered injuries, including cornerback Richard Sherman, who ruptured his Achilles.
