See the big real estate names who sold Arizona land the size of Tempe to Bill Gates

An investment vehicle of Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) founder Bill Gates has paid $80 million for Arizona land west of Phoenix.

Gates’ Mt. Lemmon Holdings acquired a majority interest in close to 20,000 acres of land that is off Interstate 10 and could be along the alignment of the proposed Interstate 11 highway linking Phoenix to Las Vegas.
