Assistant Town Manager Jess Knudson, a longtime Florence employee, has been hired to become the new city manager of Lake Havasu City.
His last day in Florence will be Dec. 27.
“It’s been a wonderful 13 years,” Knudson said Monday about his time in Florence. “I didn’t know a lot about Florence when I first moved to the community … but what I quickly learned was all the great people and all the great things that Florence had and was about to accomplish. So it’s been gratifying to be part of the town and all the success the town has had since I’ve served the town of Florence.”
