Governor’s water commission looks toward solutions

Pinal officials are taking part in a commission established by the governor to look toward solutions for the state’s water problems.

Gov. Doug Ducey’s water solutions team met several times during 2017 to discuss the issues facing the state’s water resources.

Pinal County Supervisor Steve Miller, R-Casa Grande, serves on the commission, which has a two-fold interest: Managing Colorado River water and managing the state’s groundwater resources.
